I am back with a wee reminder for the Craft Stamper blog. I hope you have found some time to come and play along with us this month. If not you have lots of time left. We want to see you using text on your project. No single sentiments though think more like background texts.
There are some fab prizes up for grabs this month a £25.00 gift voucher from A Sprinkle of Imagination. Also there is a second winner chosen by the design team. This winner will see there project in print in the magazine.
I made this card today that comes with a text stamp. The stamp is called Bloom & Simplify from Unity Stamp Company. I kept it pretty simple and I used the text stamp over the flower and added a wee bit of glitter to the centre.
Welcome to another new challenge from the Craft Stamper blog. This month is take a technique and our challenge to you is to use text on your project. We want to see you using text on your project that can be in the form of text background stamps or book pages or newspapers. Use your imagination and use what ever you like.
We have a wonderful prize for you this month! Our lovely sponsors at a sprinkle of imagination are giving one lucky winner £25 gift voucher.
Those lovely people are also offering an extra 10% off for our blog readers!
The code is CSBlog10% and will work from 5-25th of February. You must spend at least £5 excluding postage to get this offer.
Now on to my project! I used script tissue tape on my tag today. I layered some of it on top of a kraft tag then got some red barn door distress ink out and built up some colour. I used this lovely stamp from a Unity set called Love is Grand. I stamped randomly all over the tag. Next I got some white paint and gave it a few paint splatters. Then I cut out some corrugated card and distressed it. I then cut out a heart from the same stamp set and covered it in chunky silver glitter. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on to some black paper and ripped it around the edges before sticking it down to my tag. finally I added some glitter ribbon to finish!
I really love the finished tag :)
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you come and play along with us :)
